Making the Film


Yellowfeather Noriega played an integral role throughout the entire making of the documentary.  She attended film-making classes at CMAC, encouraged members of the homeless community to tell their stories and conducted the interviews used in the film.  


Steve and Mai Yang assisted with the making of the documentary by attending CMAC training classes as well as taking photos and participating in the interviews.



Kait Vickers and Allie Marquez, librarians at Fresno County Public Library, assisted with the video recording and sound aspects of shooting the documentary, respectively, as well as the editing and promotion.



Linda Kobashigawa, a librarian at Fresno County Public Library, did the lighting for the film, took photos and assisted with the editing and promotion, as well.



Lisa Lindsay, a librarian at Fresno County Public Library, wrote the grant that funded Our Lives: Surviving the Streets of Fresno and is the producer-director.
